My name is Jonathan Carlson and my experience in the arts spans from my childhood to present day. My interests began with drawing and I soon learned other fine medias. I graduated Cambrian College in visual communications and eventually found employment in the marketing and advertising industry as a graphic designer. My roots in photography were made in the darkroom developing my own prints. I converted to digital photography in 2001. As the years went by and technology advanced, I too learned to incorporate the latest tools and software to push my photographic efforts to greater heights. I am equipped with professional cameras, lenses, and lighting which helps me capture quality images in challenging conditions.

My primary career is working as a personal support worker for Christian Horizons. The most important skill I feel I have is in taking care of others that are unable to provide it for themselves. Being able to take great pictures that are the most important to people stems from this very desire to bring joy in others' lives.
